about

Courtenay M. O'Connor

Business Value & Revenue Operations Consultant

I help leaders identify, align, and optimize value drivers for maximum, forward-looking impact.

I have served in client-facing strategic consulting roles as well as embedded, quota-bearing relationship manager and revenue operator positions. From building the business case and value proposition for venture-backed, pre-IPO technology firms to scaling peacekeeping, conservation, and health programs at global institutions, my engagement brings measurable results.

I build financial models and business cases for a range of organizations, from start-ups to Fortune 500 leaders.

As a business value consultant, I work with technology vendors to assess the ROI of enterprise technology investments, both in the cloud and on-premises.

At Forrester Research, Inc., I currently work with B2B/B2C enterprise technology firms.

I specialize in quantifying the business value of cybersecurity and networking; AI workflows, agents, and systems; and environmental, social and governance for enterprise technology, delivering business value case studies, webinars, and other demand generation and sales enablement  assets for technology marketing and sales teams.

landscape-scale impact

Previously, I worked to mobilize revenue at scale for a variety of institutions, including for conflict resolution with a United Nations peacekeeping mission in Burundi, environmental conservation for The Nature Conservancy in Hawaii, and public health with The Global Fund to Fight AIDS Tuberculosis, and Malaria in Guinea. In this capacity, I have over a decade of experience enabling and directly raising hundreds of millions of dollars in capital for mission-driven organizations, building the business case for support while directly managing a quota-bearing portfolio, often exceeding personal $1m+ revenue goal
