    • Own the delivery of over $2 million in revenue, exceeding expectations by over 20% by building 30+ value-based business cases for technology startups, mid-market firms, and leading enterprises.

    Associate Director (Revenue mobilization and operations)
    The Freshwater Trust, San Francisco, CA: Aug 2019-Jan 2021

    • Established the San Francisco resource mobilization office. Develop new, innovative fundraising approaches for critical water programs in California and emerging markets (Washington state, Colorado, and New York). Manage a portfolio of $10,000+ donors, oversee the principal gift portfolios of the President & Vice President of Initiatives.

    • Structured the Development Office’s COVID-19 contingency plan in response the pandemic; manage key goal-setting processes and transition the organization from an event-based fundraising model to a major gifts program; prioritize the organization’s current and prospective donors into fundraiser-specific, goal-oriented portfolios for all four out-the-door fundraisers; lead the consolidated prospect review process to optimize pipelines for donor solicitation, cultivation, and engagement of “moonshot” prospects; quantify departmental goals.

    • Responsible for HILT’s overall fundraising, development programs. Managed fundraising and support staff, volunteers. Fostered a new culture of philanthropy. Identified potential major donors, cultivated prospects through exciting excursions, solicited and stewarded major gifts. Trained board and staff in fundraising best practices.

    • Exceeded $1.1 million annual strategic revenue goal by creating HILT’s first major accounts revenue plan; secured multi-year funding to expand HILT’s work in land stewardship, protection, and equitable, place-based education with effective executive storytelling on social equity, climate, and environmental justice funding opportunities.

    Senior Associate Director
    The Nature Conservancy of Hawai’i Honolulu, HI, Apr 2016-May 2018

    • Directly manage a portfolio of 50 current and prospective donors and co-manage an additional 20 current and prospective donors at the Major and Principal Gifts level, for an annual revenue goal of $1 million

    • Conceptualize and execute the campaign vision for a $20 million Hawai’i campaign and advise on the feasibility of a $70 million working goal for Palmyra as part of the Our World global campaign; develop all strategy and materials; manage development department and organization-wide teams in support of campaign case development and communications goals

    • Managed the successful proposal development of a $46 million malaria grant for the Government of Guinea’s submission to the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, awarded in December 2010
